Why
is Vancouver English Centre's
system the best?
Our courses are carefully planned and administered to eliminate
unnecessary repetition. We normally have 45 to 55 classes,
divided into eight levels. Each of these levels is further divided
into two sub-levels. Upon arrival at the Vancouver English
Centre, students are given an oral and written exam. Based on the
exam results, each student is placed in one level for their Grammar
class, and may be placed in a different level for the Conversation
class.

the Vancouver English Centre
At VEC, we realize that each student has unique language skills
and developmental needs. Our system assesses students' written and
oral capabilities, so that every student is placed in an appropriate
level for each skill. If students are placed in the perfect level
for each skill, they learn quickly.
All classes are taught in a communicative manner, so students can
practice their conversational skills in the morning and afternoon
classes. Each level follows an 8-week (two-session) curriculum.
