Vancouver English Centre

Our language schools in Vancouver and Guadalajara accept interns on a limited basis.  Although interns do not receive remuneration, they gain practical work experience that may lead to new opportunities.

In the past, VEC interns have worked in a variety of fields, including Marketing, Computer Administration, Human Resources, Office Management, Academic Administration, and Recreational Activities Management.  These are full-time, unpaid positions that are usually one to six months in duration. 

International students should enroll in the VEC Business Internship Program to access VEC internship positions.  This program helps students develop the communication skills that will be required in the workplace.  Students become more "employable" by developing their resumes, practicing interviewing skills, and expanding their business English vocabulary.  VEC does not normally place international students directly into internship positions, without  preparation through the Business Internship Program.
